How people live in their homes varies widely. Some houses are full with busy family life, whilst others are virtually empty. Some people like the heating on all through the winter, others are happy to wear warm jumpers inside. Priorities and motivation for retrofit differs too. Some want a good EPC score, others a healthy home, others lower bills, but most of us want all of the above to create a sustainable home. Cartrefi Clyd considers all major factors like indoor air quality, warmth, comfort, cost of living and carbon.

The Cartrefi Clyd assessment process can either use your individual energy consumption figures as a basis for the report or it can use ‘standardised data’. The standard data is used anyway for the EPC calculations as this is dictated by Government, but the more accurate ‘actual’ data does allow for some fine tuning.
